72 ppm print and copy speed, including an increase in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) scan speed to 70 originals per minute (opm).
 
Four standard trays on the main body with Tray 1 and Tray 2 easily accessible for up to 3,600 sheets of standard paper supply. A choice of two large capacity trays brings the maximum paper capacity to 7,600 sheets.
 
Maximum memory capacity of 576 MB enables the bizhub 7272 to handle hundreds if not thousands of pages in memory.

Wide range of advanced finishing functionality from 100-sheet stapling and three fold modes, to the ability to create saddle-stitched booklets up to 80 pages in length.

Ten reserved jobs can be stored ahead in the bizhub 7272 eliminating contention at the engine in a busy workgroup.
